Ein neuer Entwicklungsschritt in der Informationstechnologie ist das Modell Cloud Computing, welches ein Anwenderorientieres höchst effizientes Instrument für den Erwerb und die Bereitstellung von IT und Informationsservices ist. Cloud Computing ist seit einiger Zeit schon das Buzzword der Branche und steht in Kombination mit Computing als Überbegriff für alle Arten von rechnerbasierten Leistungen, die als Service im Internet angeboten werden.
